Martin Edelman

Mr. Edelman is General Counsel of G42, an artificial intelligence company based in Abu Dhabi. He is Of Counsel to Paul Hastings specializing primarily in international real estate and corporate transactions. He has broad international experience in a variety of businesses. He has done extensive work in Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Japan, China and the Middle East. In 2011 he was selected by the National Law Journal as one of the 34 most influential lawyers in the United States. He was awarded the Department of the Army Public Service Award in 2007.
Mr. Edelman is currently a director of Aldar Properties REIT and MGX, an investment fund based in Abu Dhabi. He is a senior advisor to Mubadala; the strategic investment arm of the government of Abu Dhabi. He is a member of the Board and Executive Committee of CFG, the owner of Manchester City Football Club and 12 other football clubs in 12 other countries, including New York City Football Club.
He is one of the founders of and continues to serve on the boards of The Jackie Robinson Foundation and Intrepid Museum in New York as Vice-Chairman. He continues to serve on the Boards of the Fallen Heroes Fund, Fisher House Foundation and The Fisher Alzheimer Foundation.
Mr. Edelman is a graduate of Princeton University (1963) and Columbia University School of Law (1966). He served in the US Army from 1966-1969.
