Steve Witkoff

Steven Witkoff serves as the United States Special Envoy for Peace Missions, a position he assumed in 2025 under President Donald J. Trump. In this role, he advances U.S. efforts, consistent with the President's priorities, to support conflict resolution, diplomatic engagement, and regional stability in coordination with interagency and international partners. Mr. Witkoff works closely with senior U.S. officials and foreign counterparts on matters related to peace initiatives and strategic dialogue. His responsibilities include supporting negotiations, advising on diplomatic strategy, and engaging with key regional stakeholders in furtherance of U.S. national security objectives. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Witkoff was the Founder and Chairman of Witkoff. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Stellar Management Company and practiced real estate law. His private-sector experience informs his approach to leadership, negotiation, and complex problem-solving. Mr. Witkoff currently serves as Chairman of the University of Miami Business School Real Estate Advisory Board.
